Green Slate patio installation
This project takes us to Ashtead in Surrey. We were approached by Mr and Mrs Reynolds to provide a quote for a new patio that they wanted constructing in their back garden. Ralph, our landscape foreman attended the quote and measured up.
The brief was to install a slate patio with a pathway down to a shed and outbuilding. Due to the levels in the garden the patio would have to be raised and the client did not want any steps from the patio to the path due to taking some light machinery down it. There were a few changes to the design at the beginning and then the client decided on which one to go forward with.
The next stage was ensuring the client was happy with the paving choice. Mr and Mrs Reynolds chose Green Slate from London Stone after visiting their showroom.
Large patio installation in Redhill
A large patio in Kashmir buff sandstone.
The client, Lisa, contacted us after seeing our post on the Redhill and Reigate parent network Facebook page. She was looking for a company to take up her old rotten decking, sort out the levels and replace with an indian sandstone.
We arranged a site visit and came out to meet Lisa and look around the site. Lisa knew the exact type of stone that she wanted so she had made trips to various stone suppliers and had chosen Kasmir Buff sandstone.
Patio installation in Crawley, West Sussex
Artificial grass and Patio installation in Mint sandstone .
The client, David, approached us to landscape his garden which was a blank canvas and needed something for entertaining his grandchildren, low maintenance and an outside area to eat.
From our initial discussions we priced up some potential areas in the garden and the client asked us to come round to discuss the plan on site.
Aye and I went for the site visit and sketched up a design with the client.

We pride ourself on excellent workmanship, excellent communication and have a wealth of experience for each element of your landscape design.
Whenever you start to think about having your garden landscaped it is important to choose a landscaper who you can relate to, feel like they listen to you and help you to understand the garden the that you have always wanted. Along with this there will be considerations of cost, space and use, so the landscaper must be one whom you can have confidence in.
Initial Landscaping Consultation
After we receive your enquiry we will discuss through your ideas by phone or email and discuss your options. We will ask for photos of your garden, measurements and a brief overview of your requirements. At this point we will give you an estimate for the cost of the project. In some situations such as paving or artificial grass we can give a cost per square metre. If the price is within your budget we will take a £75 fee, that is deductible from the total cost of the project.
Next, we will arrange a suitable time to meet for a site visit and come up with a plan for the garden. In this chat, we hope to discover your own design ideas and themes, thoughts on colours, textures and materials. We are always keen to hear your ideas and thoughts- after all, it has to be a garden that suits your lifestyle. Always think about the main reasons you use your garden, who uses it and when they use it. Some questions to think about: Is it south facing? What is the current drainage like? What is your budget? Sometimes you may not need a whole garden makeover, it may be that you can change a few parts to 'refresh' the look of the garden. We will also add our ideas into the mix and advise on what may/may not be possible.
Landscaping Design and Quotations
After the initial meeting, if you have specified that you would like to have a design of the garden we will then inform you of the cost and time it will take to get the design completed.
Usually, we can get the quote to you within 1 week- longer if we need to source unusual materials but we will keep you informed.
Carrying Out The Landscape Work
Our payment terms are clear and will be on the bottom of our estimate. We will arrange a date for the work to commence and a guide to how long it will take. You will need to sign our terms and conditions- which we will email to you for you to eSign (self-explanatory) It is at this point that we will require the mobilisation deposit for the work. We will source materials and start arranging delivery prior to carrying out the work. Our team take before and after photos as we take pride in every job and will be on hand throughout the work to discuss any questions you may have. We will keep you updated with the progress throughout. If the weather causes working conditions to be unsafe then we will keep you updated on when we will return to continue with the project. Our aim is to construct a garden that you can be proud of, want to invite others round to and be able to relax in.
