Large patio installation in Crawley Down
The client Peter contacted us knowing exactly what he wanted, right down to the type of water feature that he wanted. On the site visit Peter went through the different areas that he would like to be included such as a BBQ, fire pit, water feature and hedging.
Susan and Peter discussed the area that the patio would cover and other important elements such as a certain width path to get the ride on mower off the drive and past the patio near the garage.
Landscaping large front and back garden in Kingswood
The clients approached us as a result of seeing our advert for our landscaping services in a magazine.
Susan met with the clients and walked round to listen to their ideas. Then after two other site visits the project was agreed. The front drive was straightforward and the clients decided they needed to update the look of their drive but wanted to stick with gravel.
We recommended a gravel grid stabilisation system to ensure the gravel would not rut, shoes and tyres would not sink in it and it would be stable for many years to come. It was decided that flint gravel would be the best choice as the clients did not want a 'golden' look gravel.

Whenever you start to think about having your garden landscaped it is important to choose a landscaper who you can relate to, feel like they listen to you and help you to understand the garden the that you have always wanted. Along with this there will be considerations of cost, space and use, so the landscaper must be one whom you can have confidence in.
Initial Landscaping Consultation
After we receive your enquiry we will discuss through your ideas by phone or email and discuss your options. We will ask for photos of your garden, measurements and a brief overview of your requirements. At this point we will give you an estimate for the cost of the project. In some situations such as paving or artificial grass we can give a cost per square metre.
Next, we will arrange a suitable time to meet for a site visit and come up with a plan for the garden.
In this chat, we hope to discover your own design ideas and themes, thoughts on colours, textures and materials. We are always keen to hear your ideas and thoughts- after all, it has to be a garden that suits your lifestyle.
Always think about the main reasons you use your garden, who uses it and when they use it.
Some questions to think about: Is it south facing? What is the current drainage like? What is your budget? Sometimes you may not need a whole garden makeover, it may be that you can change a few parts to 'refresh' the look of the garden.
We will also add our ideas into the mix and advise on what may/may not be possible.
Landscaping Design and Quotations
After the initial meeting, if you have specified that you would like to have a design of the garden we will then inform you of the cost and time it will take to get the design completed.
Usually, we can get the quote to you within 1 week- longer if we need to source unusual materials but we will keep you informed.
Carrying Out The Landscape Work
Our payment terms are clear and will be on the bottom of our estimate. We will arrange a date for the work to commence and a guide to how long it will take. You will need to sign our terms and conditions- which we will email to you for you to eSign (self-explanatory) It is at this point that we will require the mobilisation deposit for the work. We will source materials and start arranging delivery prior to carrying out the work. Our team take before and after photos as we take pride in every job and will be on hand throughout the work to discuss any questions you may have. We will keep you updated with the progress throughout. If the weather causes working conditions to be unsafe then we will keep you updated on when we will return to continue with the project. Our aim is to construct a garden that you can be proud of, want to invite others round to and be able to relax in.
