How much does
landscaping cost?

As there are so many different elements and materials to consider, there is no definitive answer. However, we can give guide prices per square metric we know a few things, such as the access to the garden, measurements of the area, and what elements of landscaping you are hoping to include. To help you further, you'll find some explanations and photos of the before, during and after stages of your projects, so you can see how a garden is transformed, as well as the cost for the projects, to give you an idea of our pricing

Serving the Dorking, Reigate, Redhill, Ashtead, and Horsham areas spanning across Surrey and into Greater London. Who WE ARE?

The company was formed in 2009 by owner and company director, Aye, and was built on a passion for working outside, with experience in farming and planting in Asia, and with incredible endurance and a hard-working ethic. The company started by providing gardening services to just Dorking, and later extended their reach to Crawley and Horsham. As the landscaping side of the business grew the range of services was offered to Leatherhead, Epsom, Reigate, Redhill and other areas in Surrey and Greater London.

The Ayegardening moto is ‘To make and maintain beautiful gardens.’ Our aim is provide landscaping and gardening services with a personal touch. From quote to completion, Ayegardening will ensure the customer is kept well-informed at every step.

The Design Process

Landscape Consultation

From the initial contact our aim to to help you to realise the best for your garden space. Planning your garden is a collaborative process and involves lots of discussion. We will ask questions to find out who uses the garden, your likes/dislikes, colour and style preferences and start to gain a picture of how the garden will be used. We will provide PDFs of materials and collage boards to inspire as well as some of our own suggestions.

If we feel the garden needs a topographical service then we will advise this. These start from £550+VAT.

DESIGN AND QUOTE

Once we have understood the brief, we will book in a site consultation. The cost for this is £45+VAT. During the site consultation we will ask more detailed questions, take measurements, basic levels and provide samples if possible.

Following the consultation we will produce a design proposal which will give the cost for 3D design and if possible we will also produce a detailed estimate at this stage. A 3D design starts from £650+VAT. A 2D design starts from £350+VAT.

From here a further discussion will be had with any changes/amendments.

CONSTRUCTION

Once the work has been agreed we will book in your project. Please inform your neighbours of the proposed work - they always appreciate the heads up.

We take pride in running every project efficiently - so you are in safe hands as you watch the transformation of your garden unfold! Enjoy the garden evolve before your eyes.

LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE

On completion of the project Ayegardening will provide maintenance documents for the elements in your garden, so you can keep it looking its best. It is important to take note of these as there will be specific guidance in the first year of your garden. We will also provide planting maintenance based on the new plants that have gone into your garden.

If you would prefer to spend your weekends relaxing with family, why not entrust your garden to our garden maintenance team who will look after it for you. Currently our rate is £28+VAT per hour for gardening and £50+VAT for ride on mower grass cutting.
